Our Pet Bird Hemp Extract Oil comes from the same great industrial hemp grown on an organic farm in Colorado for human supplements. It is hand harvested and then brought to the lab where our partner manufacturer is responsible for the whole process – from seed to bottle. The use of solvent-free supercritical CO2 extraction is to ensure that the cannabinoids aren’t altered by solvents and that there isn’t any residue leaving a nearly clear, truly flavorless Hemp Extract Oil. Third-party, independent lab tests confirm Cann-Avia 50mg and 100mg strengths to contain 0% THC and the 200mg strength contains less than 0.3% THC.

We recommend the 50mg strength for birds weighing less than 325g, the 100mg strength for birds weighing between 250g – 650g, and the 200mg strength for birds weighing 350g and up.

It is important to have an accurate weight of your bird before using Cann-Avia. CBD can enhance the effects of certain medications. If your bird is on any medications talk with your avian veterinarian before giving Cann-Avia.

Shake well before using. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not use if safety seal is broken. DO NOT PUT GLASS DROPPER IN YOUR BIRD’S BEAK. Each bottle ordered comes with a plastic ml syringe for ease of dosing and administration.

Directions: give orally 1-2 times a day

If you see unusual sedation, sleepiness, etc. you are giving too much. Stop for a day and then reduce the dose.
